Lollypop Farm: Pet of the Week 7-14-10

This is my first Pet of the Week post for this blog. Once a week, I will post a featured pet that is currently up for adoption at my local animal shelter, Lollypop Farm. I would ask that you read and share this post, especially if you are in the Rochester, NY, area or have friends/family/followers here. Six to eight million cats and dogs enter our nation’s shelters each year (source: The Humane Society of the United States), and far too many of them do not find “forever homes” – if you or someone you know is looking to add a pet to the family, please consider adopting from a local shelter or breed rescue organization.

Gavin #10433152 and Goose #10433015

Gavin and Goose are brothers, available for our 2-4-$100 special adoption fee! They have been together for a long time and are very bonded to each other. They came to Lollypop Farm because their owner could no longer afford them. Goose is 2-years-old, Gavin is just 8-months-old, and they must be adopted together. They have been waiting to find their new forever home since May. They previously lived with kids, and currently live in the cattery and get along well with other cats. These loveable boys are a little shy at first, but are sure to warm up once they relax in the comfort of their new home!
